The Company provides medical and healthcare services under the name "Praram 9 Hospital" through a single hospital. Operations commenced in 1992, and the Hospital currently has a total registered bed capacity of 204 beds. The Company focuses on specialized medicine and the treatment of difficult and complex diseases under the vision of becoming the "Most Trusted Hospital", offering quality services at cost-effective and reasonable rates (Value for Money Services).

The Company is positioned as a specialized hospital for difficult and complex diseases, particularly through nationally recognized Kidney and Transplant Institute, while offering Value for Money compared with internationally recognized treatment quality. The Hospital has maintained JCI accreditation continuously since 2010 and was ranked among Thailand's Top 10 leading hospitals in Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals 2025. This positioning means that the Company does not compete primarily on price with general hospitals and does not bear the administrative costs of operating a large hospital network.

Praram 9 Hospital has five Centers of Excellence, as follows:

  • Kidney and Transplant Institute
  • Cardiovascular Institute
  • Neuroscience Center
  • Orthopedic Center
  • Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Center

All five centers operate under the Global Standard strategy and focus on vital organs and complex diseases. They are key drivers of the Company's Case Intensity and revenue per case.

In 2025, international patient revenue grew by 73% and accounted for 26% of hospital revenue, with fly-in patients from the Middle East as the main growth driver. The Company recognizes the risks associated with concentration and regional uncertainty and is therefore planning to diversify the market base into new target countries. Thai patients nevertheless remain the Company's primary revenue base, accounting for approximately 74% of hospital revenue, which helps limit the impact if any single market slows.

The Company is expanding Thai patient base through proactive cooperation with insurers and corporate contract partners, as demonstrated by the more-than-doubling of Corporate Contract revenue in 2025. This is being pursued alongside the launch of new services targeting younger generations, in addition to the existing base of elderly patients and patients with complex diseases, as well as proactive brand communications in Thailand and overseas.

The Company manages capacity by increasing value per case rather than relying solely on an increase in the number of beds. It continues to invest in ICU/CCU facilities, medical equipment for complex treatments, premium patient wards, and the renovation and expansion of service areas to accommodate rising patient volumes. Treatment of complex diseases generates higher revenue per patient day than general treatment, allowing revenue to grow even with a stable bed count, as reflected in 2025 IPD revenue growth of 26.8%, driven by both patient days and average revenue per patient day.

The investment in new HIS and ERP systems under the Smart Hospital approach has clear business objectives: reducing redundant processes and operating costs through paperless operations and using Data Analytics to support management. Part of the outcome is reflected in the continued improvement in the cost-to-revenue ratio.

The dividend policy sets a minimum payout of 40% of net profit. The actual payout ratio depends on operating performance, investment plans, and the Board of Directors' discretion each year. Given the Company's debt-free financial position and strong cash flow, the Company has flexibility in considering shareholder returns. See the historical dividend payments on the "Dividend Information" page.

The key risks closely monitored by the Company include: (1) geopolitical uncertainty in major international markets, which the Company manages by diversifying and expanding the market base; (2) competition for medical personnel and related costs; and (3) volatility in certain expenses, such as employee benefit provisions linked to gold prices.
